Quest Master - Autonomous Task Planning

Quest Master is Bike4Mind's revolutionary autonomous task planning and execution system. It intelligently breaks down complex requests into manageable sub-tasks and executes them in parallel, dramatically improving efficiency and results.

What is Quest Master?​

Quest Master acts as your AI project manager, taking your high-level goals and:

  1. Analyzing the request to understand all requirements
  2. Planning an optimal sequence of tasks
  3. Executing tasks in parallel where possible
  4. Synthesizing results into a comprehensive response

How It Works​

1. Request Analysis​

When you enable Quest Master for a prompt, it first analyzes your request to identify:

  • Core objectives
  • Required information gathering
  • Necessary computations or generations
  • Dependencies between tasks

2. Task Planning​

Quest Master creates a structured plan with:

  • Main Quests: High-level objectives
  • Sub-Quests: Specific tasks to achieve each objective
  • Dependencies: Which tasks must complete before others
  • Parallel Opportunities: Tasks that can run simultaneously

3. Task Execution​

The system then:

  • Executes independent tasks in parallel
  • Monitors progress in real-time
  • Handles errors gracefully
  • Adjusts the plan if needed

4. Result Synthesis​

Finally, Quest Master:

  • Collects all sub-task results
  • Synthesizes them into a coherent response
  • Provides a summary of what was accomplished
  • Highlights key findings and recommendations

Using Quest Master​

Enabling Quest Master​

Step 1 — Enable the feature:

  1. Click your avatar in the sidebar footer to open your Profile
  2. Go to the Settings tab
  3. Scroll to Experimental Features and toggle Quest Master on

Step 2 — Enable in a notebook:

  1. Open a notebook and click the Smart Tools dropdown
  2. Toggle Quest Master on
  3. Submit your request as normal

Viewing your quests:

  1. In the left sidebar footer, click the three-dot menu (more options button)
  2. Select My Quests to see all your quest history and status
